What's Best For You?

The simple answer is to pick what you like! There are a couple of minor differences between all of our products to take into consideration. 

Medium or Fine? Medium will last longer, and is chunkier-pieces will be no longer than 3/4", while fine bark is best for keeping weeds down, insulating, and raking/sloping to the perfect contour. However, the fine bark will degrade a little faster than the medium. Both are great for any project. 

Red or dark? Again, it largely comes down to prference. Red bark is fresh and vibrant, and excellent for rhododendrons and green shrubs, while dark bark is aged at our yard and will contrast excellently with lighter stone, brick and concrete. As dark bark is aged, it will degrad slightly faster than red, but not by much.
